Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a collision on Gaddesden Row.
The incident occurred at around 3pm on Friday 16 January.
The collision involved three vehicles, a motorbike and a Nissan van which were travelling in the direction of Jockey end, and a DAS gas truck travelling in the opposite direction.
The male rider of the motorbike, a 17-year-old, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He sadly died in the early hours of this morning (17 January).
Detective Constable Lotty Lewis from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “If you witnessed the collision could you please contact the police with information.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone with a dash cam and who was driving in the area at the time in case they recorded any important footage. If you captured anything, please upload this via herts.police.uk/dashcamupload.
