M1 northbound junction 10 (Pepperstock Interchange) – urgent resurfacing
I’m writing to tell you that we’re planning to carry out urgent resurfacing work on the M1 northbound between the junction 10 exit and entrance slip roads. Once complete, drivers should benefit from a safer and better-defined road surface.
We plan to complete this work overnight on Monday 12 October 2026. We will work between 10pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M1 northbound stretch between the junction 10 exit and entrance slip roads, and divert traffic as follows:
· Take the exit slip at junction 10 onto the Pepperstock Interchange roundabout.
· Take the first exit onto the entrance slip to rejoin the M1 northbound.
Please note that emergency vehicle access will be permitted through the works but with caution.
