Important roadworks information
M1 northbound junction 10 entry slip – calibration works
I’m writing to tell you that we plan to carry out calibration works on the M1 northbound junction 10 entry slip. This will ensure the M1 continues to remain in a safe and serviceable condition.
We plan to complete this work over overnight starting on Tuesday 31 March 2026. We’ll be working between 10pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the M1 northbound junction 10
entry slip, traffic will be diverted as follows:
- Drivers travelling southbound on the M1 intending to exit at junction 10 should continue southbound on the M1 towards junction 9
- Exit at junction 9 and take the second exit at the first roundabout to join the A5183
- Travel along the A5183 and at the roundabout take the first exit to rejoin the M1 northbound to continue your journey
Please note emergency vehicles will not have access through the works
