Hedge and Tree Maintenance Reminder

A gentle reminder that the upkeep of boundary hedges is the responsibility of each property owner, with the recommended trimming period running from September to February, when it’s safest for local wildlife.

We’ve noticed that a few hedges  and trees around the village have become overgrown and are causing difficulties for pedestrians and/or obscuring road signs. If your hedge or tree borders a footpath or roadway, please take a moment to check whether it might be affecting visibility or access. A quick trim can make a real difference in keeping our village safe and pleasant for everyone.

Thank you for your help in looking after our shared spaces.

If you cannot manage to maintain your hedge or tree yourself, please contact the Parish Council who may be able to provide contact details for people who could carry out work for you.
