Our Early Years Advice Line is open every week during term time for parents and carers who’d like to speak directly with a member of the SEND Team.

Starting Reception – Parent Information Session (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities(SEND) Focus)

Starting Reception is a big milestone for both children and parents — and if your child has special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), it’s completely natural to have questions.

To support you during this important transition, the Early Years SEND Team are hosting an online Microsoft Teams session where we’ll share:

✅ Practical tips to help prepare your child

✅ Ways to support emotional and social readiness

✅ What to expect in the first few weeks of Reception

✅ Answers to your questions
