The Hertfordshire Family Centre Service is here to support families with children aged 0–5 years across Hertfordshire. Our service brings together Family Support Services and Health Visiting to help give every child the best possible start in life.
Whether you need advice, practical support, parenting guidance, or help accessing local services, our teams are here for you.

Early Years SEND Referrals
We accept referrals for children aged 0–5 from parents, health professionals, and education settings.
If a child is new to a setting or has emerging needs, please start with an initial phone consultation via our Early Years Helpline.
For more targeted support, nurseries, preschools, and health professionals may be asked for additional information, including evidence of the assess–plan–do–review cycle.
If your referral is accepted, a member of our Early Years SEND team will contact you or your child’s setting to arrange a visit.
