Proposed changes to Sunday opening hours at 6 libraries and evening opening hours at Welwyn Garden City Central Library
As part of the Council’s wider savings programme, we are consulting on a proposal to cease Sunday opening. The six libraries which currently open on a Sunday are Bishop’s Stortford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Stevenage Central, Watford Central and Welwyn Garden City Central.
We are also proposing to reduce the number of evenings that Welwyn Garden City Library opens beyond 6pm.
