Work includes repairs to the road surface, drainage, and vegetation clearance.
We’ll also be using these closures to repair CCTV and variable message signs, which are used to assist with the management of traffic on the motorway. This is to ensure the M1 remains in a safe serviceable condition.
To carry out this work safely, we’ll need to close the carriageway between 10pm and 5am when traffic levels are at their lowest. Each closure will have fully signed diversion routes in place. Please find below the closure information:
